Der GESO plant etwas Besonderes: Am Freitag, 27. März 2026 fahren wir gemeinsam nach Stuttgart und besichtigen die Grossbaustelle Stuttgart 21 mit einer geführten Baustellenführung. Du bekommst dabei einen exklusiven Einblick in eines der spannendsten Infrastrukturprojekte Europas. 💡
Wir sind den ganzen Tag unterwegs, die Rückkehr in die Schweiz (Zürich) ist aktuell auf ca. 23:30 Uhr geplant. Plane dir den Tag also komplett frei ein.
Kosten (ungefähre Richtwerte):
Für die Teilnahme kannst du mit etwa rechnen:
- ca. CHF 20.- für die Baustellenführung (wird für GESO Mitglieder vom GESO übernommen)
- ca. CHF 50.- für die Zugreise (Schaffhausen-Stuttgart retour)
Reise und Billette – so ist der Plan:
Wir möchten einen direkten Zug von Zürich nach Stuttgart nutzen. Da es in der Regel günstiger ist, wenn man die Tickets bei der Deutschen Bahn ab der Grenze löst, machen wir es so:
- Zürich – Schaffhausen: Dieses Stück organisierst du selbst.
- Schaffhausen – Stuttgart / Stuttgart – Schaffhausen: Ab Schaffhausen möchten wir für alle, die möchten, ein Gruppenbillet über die Deutsche Bahn lösen.
Als groben Richtwert kannst du mit etwa 50.– für Hin- und Rückreise ab Schaffhausen rechnen – voraussichtlich wird es mit dem Gruppentarif noch etwas günstiger.
Wenn du möchtest, kannst du dich also unserer Gruppenlösung ab Schaffhausen anschliessen. Wer lieber individuell anreist, kann das natürlich auch machen.
Wichtige Infos zur Anmeldung:
Die Plätze sind beschränkt – es lohnt sich also, dich früh anzumelden. Ausserdem sind die Anmeldungen verbindlich und die Kosten werden verrechnet, wenn wir keine Absage vor dem 05.01.2026 bekommen.
Damit wir Gruppenbillet, Führung und Zeiten gut planen können, brauchen wir ein paar Angaben von dir.

Stuttgart 21 Construction Site Visit

GESO is planning something special: on Friday, 27 March 2026, we will travel together to Stuttgart and visit the Stuttgart 21 construction site with a guided tour. You will gain exclusive insight into one of Europe’s most exciting infrastructure projects.💡
We will be on the road all day, and our return to Switzerland (Zurich) is currently planned for around 11:30 p.m. So plan to keep the rest of your day completely free.
Costs (approximates):
You can expect to pay around
- ca. CHF 20.- for the guided tour
- ca. CHF 50.- for the journey by train (Schaffhausen-Stuttgart retour)
Journey and tickets – here’s the plan:
We would like to take a direct train from Zurich to Stuttgart. As it is usually cheaper to buy tickets from Deutsche Bahn once you cross the border, we will do it this way:
- Zürich – Schaffhausen: You organise this part yourself.
- Schaffhausen – Stuttgart / Stuttgart – Schaffhausen: From Schaffhausen, we would like to purchase a group ticket via Deutsche Bahn for anyone who wishes to travel with us.
As a rough estimate, you can expect to pay around CHF 50.- for a return trip from Schaffhausen – the group rate is likely to be slightly cheaper. If you wish, you can join our group solution from Schaffhausen. If you prefer to travel individually, you are of course welcome to do so.
Important information about registration:
Places are limited, so it is worth registering early. In addition, registrations are binding and the costs will be charged if we do not receive a cancellation before 5 January 2026.
In order for us to plan the group ticket, guided tour and times, we need some information from you. Please fill out the short survey by Monday, 5 January 2026 at the latest:
Once we have all the feedback, we will send you the final details on the meeting point, exact train connection and actual costs.
